Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is skilled treatment that helps patients who have mental, emotional, and/or physical disabilities which interfere with their lives. Through understanding the impact of disability, illness and impairment occupational therapy helps children achieve independence in all facets of their lives by helping to develop or regain skills and strengthen fine motor skills. Sensory integration techniques are also used to help children better process and tolerate the information they get through their senses and improve overall occupational performance.
