Physical therapy services focus on preserving, developing and restoring physical function that may have been lost due to injury, disease, aging or congenital abnormality. This type of therapy is for gross motor skills and is used to decrease spacticity, strengthen underlying muscles, and teach proper or functional motor patterns. Our licensed physical therapists incorporate therapeutic exercise, physical agents such as heat or cold, assistive or adaptive devices, such as walkers or bracing; and specialized manual techniques.

Treatments focus on:

Treatments focus on improving gross and fine motor skills, balance and coordination, strength and endurance as well as. Children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and torticollis are a few of the patients treated by pediatric physical therapists.
